Red Bee Media to provide additional broadcast services including access services, rich metadata and sports analysis software, Piero
Red Bee Media, one of the world’s leading media services companies providing multi-platform technology and creative solutions to broadcasters, content rights holders, platform operators and brand owners, today announced it has been selected by BT to deliver additional broadcast services for its newly launched live sports service, BT Sport.
In addition to delivering playout, channel and media management services for BT Sport, Red Bee Media will provide live and pre-recorded subtitling and audio description services along with rich metadata services and award-winning 3D sports analysis software, Piero. The BT Sport logo, which was unveiled in February, was also designed in partnership with Red Bee Media.

BT Sport will show 38 exclusively live football matches from the Barclays English Premier League, including 18 of the “top picks” from August 2013 for three seasons. The channels will also show live FA Cup, UEFA Europa League, top tier live football from Germany, Italy, France, Brazil, Australia and the USA, plus action from the FA Women’s Super League and 30 live matches from the Football Conference.
