Since 2012 Red Bee has been BT’s primary playout and broadcast services partner for highly reactive live content and fast turn-around events. In 2015 Red Bee helped launch Europe’s first UHDTV channel.

The Challenge

Operate within tight timescale due to start of 2013/14 Barclays Premier League football season

  • Design and build a dedicated Playout and media management service to run two premium, live sports channels
  • Manage a smooth launch and quality of service
  • Recruit and train operational staff capable of handling multiple live events
  • Operate within extremely tight, immovable timescales: nine months to launch, and four months for barker
