Red Bee Media has been awarded the DPP Committed to Security mark for both broadcast and production as of March 2019. The DPP Committed to Security program promotes best practice in cyber security across the media supply chain. This certification shows a continued commitment from Red Bee Media in prioritizing and adhering to cyber security best practices.
The DPP Committed to Security program was launched in 2017, based on two existing documents, a Supplier Security Checklist, generated by DPP members, and the Broadcaster Cybersecurity Requirements, created in cooperation with NABA (North American Broadcasters Association). The program allows suppliers in production and broadcasting to demonstrate commitment towards cyber security best practice.
“Red Bee Media is fully committed to prioritize cyber security best practices and to be the market leader in delivering secure services to the broadcast industry and we are proud to have been awarded the DPP Committed to Security mark for both broadcast and production.” Says David Travis, Chief Portfolio Officer, Video Services, Red Bee Media.
To be awarded the Marks in the DPP Committed to Security Program, Red Bee Media completed a self-assessment questionnaire with 66 security controls, which was reviewed and approved by quality assurance expert, and DPP member, Eurofins Digital Testing.
“Red Bee Media provided detailed responses to the checklist controls and has shown a true commitment in contributing to making the broadcast supply chain more secure”, says Rowan de Pomerai, Head of Delivery & Growth, DPP. “Today Red Bee Media joins a rapidly growing community of forward-thinking companies that hold the DPP Security marks.”
