Red Bee Media kicks-off global campaign for BBC Knowledge with epic brand film.
Red Bee Media has created a 60 second brand film for BBC Knowledge to support the re-brand of the channel around the world.
BBC Knowledge programming centres around key passionate personalities and aims to redefine how people see the world with content such as Life on Earth, Tribe with Bruce Parry, Top Gear and Wonders of the Solar System with Brian Cox.
Our brief was to create a three-phase brand campaign. This was to include a conceptual brand values film and short presenter profiles building to a presenter brand film.
At the heart of the campaign was the channel’s new proposition ‘liberating knowledge’ supported by the core brand values “ideas, wonder and passionate personalities.” From these came the inspiration for our creative idea: big ideas are nothing unless they’re shared.
Our launch film captures this through a mysterious digital sphere on an epic journey. As it reaches its final destination it’s surrounded by surprised onlookers and comes to life in spectacular style, displaying imagery that reflects the channel’s content. The spot concludes with the campaign line Wonder. Shared.
Subsequent presenter profiles will show key channel talent talking about the big ideas that have inspired them in their life and work.
